Salt marsh, samphire and shifting tides. Norfolk’s land ownership mirrors England’s - from Crown Estate to contested common land. Portraits of ancient and modern Landowners and influencers grounded in marsh and mud play with the fragility/futility of ownership and stewardship in relation to geological time and future flood. As a drama in 10 Acts these acts are those passed by Parliament through the ages that Impact this coastline - from Drainage to Energy, Military Lands to Oil and Gas each plays a role in how our society and lands adapt to rising waters.
